Basis of the edition

The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary.

Commentary

According to O. Soysal (cited in S. Košak, hethiter.net/: hetkonk (v. 1.992)), lines 2′-4′ are parallel to KUB 56.56 iv 18-19; however, these lines contain expressions which are very common in the entire corpus of the cult inventories and do not represent a true parallel to KUB 56.56.
